CHANPREET SINGH

Chanpreet is an actor, writer and a corporate leader. He studied acting at UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television (TFT) and has performed in various plays, films and commercials. He writes in English and Hindi and published his first book in 2020 followed by his second collection of poetry in 2024.

He holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, and a Masters in Commerce from Delhi University. This elite foundation in strategy and governance has propelled his 18-year career as a senior leader within the technology and media sectors of Silicon Valley and the US West Coast. Yet, it is his artistic pedigree that provides the soulful counterpoint to his corporate rigor.

Chanpreet’s artistic voice is uniquely informed by his global transit. Having lived and worked across the world’s major economic hubs, he offers a piercing perspective on how the East and West differ in practice but remain unified by universal human struggles-identity, longing, and the search for stillness in a digital age. His debut collection, Ek Akela Ped aur anya kavitaein, and his newest work, Nanhi Panktiyan, represent this "Global Citizenship," blending the rhythmic grace of Hindustani verse with a modern, cosmopolitan sensibility.
